“Global streaming services affect many countries, not just Canada. While we work on a plan, we are giving our cultural sector more than a billion dollars in support. The member should agree that this is a good thing.”

In the interim, while we work on that plan, we will provide that interim support over and above that $500 million, which equates to well over a billion dollars over the coming years. Would the member agree that is a positive thing?”
