Mr. Speaker, I think it is really important for us to recognize that Radio-Canada is an absolutely critical institution in dealing with Canadian sovereignty, and there is so much more than just Radio-Canada. There are 44 members of Parliament from the province of Quebec, and I can assure the member opposite that they are a vocal bunch. They understand how important this is. There are many wonderful things that have come out of Quebec and contributed to the arts throughout the world, not just in Canada. One of my favourite examples is Céline Dion, but there are so many others, such as the late Leonard Cohen, who gave us beautiful music. All sorts of things have come from the province. Supporting our community newspapers is also very important. Our rural caucus members, in particular those from Quebec, constantly raise the importance of our rural newspapers and making sure we have news agencies. That is one of the reasons I highlighted Radio-Canada as an important institution that supports good news and so many other things, such as community activities.
