Madam Speaker, coming from the aerospace sector before coming to the House, I know all too well how challenging procurement is in Canada when it comes to identifying the need and then waiting through the process as contract tender specs continue to change and so on. To answer my colleague’s question, we must identify the need, make sure it is well pronounced, have an RFP that is developed accurately through this new process, and get through the procurement process to get the goods required by our Canadian Armed Forces.
