Discussion · Government Orders
Elizabeth May Green
“I want this bill to go to committee, but the government must not rush the study. The government rushes committees too often, and bills are not being studied properly.”
“Mr. Speaker, I certainly support it going to the committee stage, but I hope the government will not run roughshod over the committee and insist on inadequate testimony and witnesses. Too many committees are rushed to conclusion under the new government, and I find it very difficult to say that bills have been properly studied.”
