“Government ethics matter. I worry this bill gives the government too much power and could lead to abuse. I want a committee to study these concerns.”

Yes, I think ethics in government is very important, and I am concerned about the concentration of power associated with this bill, as well as the potential abuses that could occur of that power. I look forward to further study on these issues at committee, but I very much share the concerns raised by my colleague and hope this issue will get more airing when it is studied at committee.”
