“My colleague spoke about business, but he ignored seniors losing their purchasing power. Seniors aged 65 to 74 did not get an increase in their pensions. I want to know if he will support my bill to fix this unfair difference between seniors.”
“Madam Speaker, my colleague spoke at length about businesses and economic matters, but he did not say a word about the loss of purchasing power among seniors. He knows very well that seniors aged 65 to 74 have not received an increase in their old age security pension. They have lost their purchasing power. Does my colleague intend to support Bill C‑261, which I am sponsoring, so that this injustice and inequity between seniors can finally be eliminated?”

Madam Speaker, my colleague spoke at length about businesses and economic matters, but he did not say a word about the loss of purchasing power among seniors. He knows very well that seniors aged 65 to 74 have not received an increase in their old age security pension. They have lost their purchasing power.
