“Canadians have to pay back the government's growing debt, and it hurts our children's future. Young people and seniors are already struggling to afford things. I want the member to explain how this debt and overspending hurt everyday life now and in the future.”
“Madam Speaker, I will take this opportunity to ask the member what it means to have more debt, deficits and interest payments. We all know that taxpayers are on the hook to pay the debt, which is amortizing their future and their kids’ future. We have seen that everyone is struggling with affordability. Youth are struggling, and seniors are looking for relief. What are the impacts of the debt and deficits on future generations and everyday life for Canadians at the present time?”
