“Madam Speaker, I was a commercial lender for 15 years. I worked with debt and loans, and there is a certain level of sustainability that has to be considered. Debt can be very risky. Right now, we have a government that is, in fact, hiding the true amount of debt. The Liberals are hiding it in Crown corporations. When we cannot see the full picture, how can good decisions be made? A business owner will tell us that they need reliable financial statements to make decisions, and we do not have that in our country’s finances.”
