“The government's spending is hurting the country's finances. Two independent officers, including the Parliamentary Budget Officer, warned that the debt and deficit will go up. There are no spending limits, and our children and grandchildren will have to deal with the damage.”
“Mr. Speaker, I would give it a new rating measure, and that rating measure would be that it is my kids and my grandkids who are going to pick up the scattered pieces of what is left of this country after the Liberals do even more damage economically and fiscally than what they are doing right now. That is what the PBO said, that the debt and deficit are going to increase. They have raised the alarms. Not only one PBO but two independent officers have now said that this is an alarming trend that is happening. There are no fiscal anchors. The things that worry me are my kids, my grandkids and the future of the country after the Liberals are done with it.”
