“The Prime Minister is hiding how much debt he is creating by splitting the budget and pushing debt onto Crown corporations. The Liberals are also sharing the budget on a Thursday afternoon before a break week to hide bad news. If the government's finances are so good, they would not act like this.”

Mr. Speaker, it is not bad enough that the new Prime Minister has split the budget between operating and capital and is distributing the debt that he is creating among those. He is also passing debt on through Crown corporations. To hide all of that, as my colleague brought up, the Liberals are introducing the budget on a Thursday afternoon before a break week. If things are as great as the Liberal government decries that they actually are, why are the Liberals behaving this way?
