“Mr. Speaker, in the last election, we were very clear that part of the solution is the blue seal program so highly-trained immigrants could practise in their field of expertise. In speaking to a number of professionals, I have heard nothing but good feedback on that. On the topic of young Canadians, their first job, that entry-level job they are looking for, their first opportunity, is oftentimes created by small businesses and medium-sized businesses. We need to support them as well.”
