“I should not decide these solutions on my own. A committee should study this bill. We need to hear from experts, tech companies, and young people to make a law that actually helps.”
“Mr. Speaker, once again, I do not think that it is up to me, as some great thinker, to start telling people what they should do. I think that is what committees are for. We can bring in experts and make sure we listen to them. At the end of the day, it is not ideology that is important. It is results and what ordinary people are facing. What should we do? We can set up a committee, invite experts, listen to what they have to say, present ideas to them and ask what they think about the tools. We can talk to digital platforms, talk to our young people about how they actually use the Internet and work together to develop a law that helps them.”
