“Madam Speaker, I wanted to reaffirm the targets set out in the bill for harmful content: non-consensual intimate content, child sexual victimization, content inducing a child to self-harm, child bullying, hate, incitement to violence, and terrorism or violent extremism content. It is important that we are establishing that a great deal of hurt is there, and it is the primary reason this legislation is necessary, which would be enforced by having the commission put in place.”
