“People in my riding worry about what kids see online and want them protected. Can my colleague explain why we need to pass this social media safety bill right now?”
“Mr. Speaker, I would like to ask my hon. colleague why it is important to act now. I think there was an expectation among the Canadian population to do that. When I speak with people in my riding, some are asking how we can better protect our children. There are some concerns about what they are seeing on social media, so I would like to hear his view on what he has heard in his riding and why it is important to act now with Bill C-34.”
