“We need laws to protect young people online. But Quebec should decide these rules for young people in Quebec.”
“Mr. Speaker, indeed, the time has come to deal with this situation. My question is this. In our society, which level of government is ultimately responsible for protecting young people? I am thinking of the young people in Quebec, for example. Would my colleague agree that, while legislation is needed, it is up to the Quebec nation to have a serious discussion about these legislative choices?”
