“I want to know if the member looked at similar online safety laws in other countries, like in Europe and Australia. If he did, what can we learn from them as we study this bill?”
“Mr. Speaker, first off, I want to offer my condolences to the family and friends of the individual mentioned by my hon. colleague. I would like to know if he looked at comparable provisions enacted in other countries, like European nations and Australia. If so, are there any aspects that we should keep in mind during our study of Bill C‑34, based on what is being done elsewhere?”
