“Europe is going to put tariffs on Quebec's metal exports because of Canada's policies. The Liberals also weakened pesticide rules and allowed banned pesticides back, which will hurt our food trade with Europe too. Their weak rules will cost Quebec.”
Official Hansard

Mr. Speaker, Europe is going to impose tariffs on Quebec’s aluminum, steel and iron exports because of Canada. This may not end with metal exports, because the Liberals also weakened pesticide regulations and even gave themselves the power to reintroduce banned pesticides. Europe has strict standards in this area as well, so that will hinder agri-food trade. Unlike the Liberals, Europe takes these issues seriously. Do they now realize how much their irresponsible deregulation will cost Quebec?
