“Mr. Speaker, on the day that the bill was introduced, the minister announced that he was going to work with the Soil Conservation Council of Canada to create an agricultural soil health strategy. That is nice, but the council he created includes no representatives from Quebec. Not only is he introducing a bill that encroaches on Quebec’s jurisdictions, but there are no Quebeckers to make their voices heard in Ottawa. Is there a problem?”
