Mr. Speaker, over the course of the 46,000 consultations, including public consultations and round tables, other health-related topics came up over and over, including mental illness and mental health care. The health minister clearly told us that one of the things people are calling for is to expand mental health services in order to meet all of society’s needs, which includes medical assistance in dying.
