Replying to Kevin Lamoureux (Liberal)
“Mr. Speaker, I recognize that the Bloc is supporting the principles of the legislation. I see that as a very strong positive. There is a series of legislative initiatives that the Prime Minister and the government have put into place to make the communities across our country safer. That is very important to the government, as we have a very extensive suite of bills I wonder if the member could provide his thoughts on the holistic approach of dealing with crimes in our community and working with provincial jurisdictions and law enforcement agencies to achieve the ultimate goal, which is to make our communities safer.”
