Mr. Speaker, Claims · 82 wordsI rise today, with the member of Parliament from Port Moody—Coquitlam, to present an e-petition on behalf of over 2,400 Canadians seeking to designate February as Canadian Chinese heritage month.¹ I stand, with national support from coast to coast, with many organizations and cities across the country joining our movement. The contributions of Chinese Canadians over the past 230 years deserve recognition.² Our government’s message this year has been about building Canada strong. Chinese Canadians have been doing so since before Confederation.³
