“Mr. Speaker, the Prime Minister was born in the Northwest Territories and grew up in Edmonton. He understands the importance of building a stronger and healthier economy. When we take a look at those initiatives, the one I would highlight today is getting rid of the carbon tax on gasoline and now reducing the excise tax. These are substantial savings for Canadians at a time when affordability is such an important issue. When we have policies of this nature, they need to be done in a measured way. Mr. Speaker, Reasoning · 101 wordsI would have to say there is no such thing as a measured way with unreasonable policies. We get them out of the way.Vague promise If they are bad policies, we put in good policies.Vague promise Whether the Prime Minister has spent some of his life in Alberta or not, I do not think there is a direct connection between that and the understanding of what the lives of a common person and a common family on a limited budget are like today, with the costs increasing day after day. Limited tax relief is not the answer. Full tax relief is the answer.
