Replying to Vince Gasparro (Liberal)
“Mr. Speaker, I listened intently to my hon. colleague. Maybe she could talk about some of the projects our government is helping to get completed, get started and get financed. Churchill Falls is the largest renewable energy project in North American history, producing enough clean power to heat, cool and power all the homes in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. It will create 22,000 jobs. We have LNG phase two and the refurbishment of Darlington. These are significant power projects and significant infrastructure projects creating tens of thousands of jobs. Maybe the hon. member could talk about some of the great work that Canada’s government is doing to get these projects built.”
