Following a speech by Scott Anderson (Conservative)
“Mr. Speaker, this is a bit ridiculous. The parliamentary secretary stood up for a good 10 minutes and told us all about how this was really the plan from the very beginning. He referenced that Mr. Guzman stood in committee and said that maybe it would be that. Mr. Guzman was completely confused as to what the direction of the DIA was at the time and said that he did not know and that maybe it would be that. I would like to discuss the PBO appearing before us recently, who was similarly confused as to the direction of the DIA. They have no clue. This is an experiment that is rolling out, with big announcements and changes of plans. The PBO does not even have a handle on what we are doing. I have no idea.”
