“Mr. Speaker, as a member of the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage, my colleague took part in a study on the impact of influencers and social media. As part of its study, the committee made recommendations to the government, including a recommendation to take a more flexible approach. As everyone knows, youth protection is very much the responsibility of Quebec and the provinces. I would like my colleague to talk a bit more about this, specifically about adopting an approach that is much more focused on the realities on the ground in every area where this phenomenon may occur. These are the issues we want to tackle today.”
