“Madam Speaker, the government has an essential role to play in protecting children and keeping them safe while respecting parental authority. The goal is to strike a balance between protecting children and respecting parents’ responsibilities. Can my colleague explain how this bill would help speed up the removal of intimate content distributed without consent and content that sexually victimizes children, in order to better protect them?”
