Mr. Speaker, today I want to recognize members of the Intentional Community Consortium who are in Ottawa for their annual day on the Hill. Representing 85 agencies across Ontario and Quebec, the ICC is celebrating its 10th anniversary. That is 10 years of advocating for supportive housing solutions for individuals with developmental disabilities across Canada. Earlier this fall, we celebrated the opening of the Frankfort Family Reena Residence in the heart of my riding of Eglinton—Lawrence with chair Gary Gladstone. Because of the $44 million in funding from Canada’s government, that project has delivered 111 new affordable units, giving 168 people with diverse needs a place to call home. I would like to thank the Intentional Community Consortium for the important work it does to build stronger, more accessible communities, and I invite all hon. members to join us in the Speaker’s dining room following question period.
