Replying to Mario Beaulieu (Bloc Québécois)
“Mr. Speaker, we in the Bloc Québécois agree with the part of the motion that deals with the buy Canadian policy. However, there is another part that runs counter to secularism or that supports the use of religious language by chaplains. There is also a part that mentions steel, aluminum and lumber in the preamble, but the motion does not address them further. What exactly is the overall message of this motion?”

Mr. Speaker, the global message from the Liberal government is that it values veterans less than it values American companies, which is absolutely shameful and disgusting. I cannot imagine being a veteran here, going to defend our country and then coming back to a slap in the face. It is absolutely deplorable.
