“Mr. Speaker, I have just become a member of the status of women committee. I am really thrilled that we are working at a systems level to start to address some of these challenges that we are seeing in the laws and to hearing from some of the folks who are doing the work on the front lines to identify some of these challenges. I cannot speak to the question that the member brought up specifically, but I want to say that this work needs to be happening with a much more systematic approach.”
