“We need to spend money on space and innovation. It helps Canada grow and secures our place in the world. I want all members to support our space work.”
“Mr. Speaker, what a disappointment that question was from my colleague. Today, in the gallery, we had Colonel Jeremy Hansen, who is the pride of the Canadian Space Agency and the first Canadian to venture beyond the moon. The investments we make in space and innovation to establish Canada’s role in this new and growing sector are absolutely critical and pivotal to making our place in the world. I hope all members in this chamber will support our astronauts and innovation in the space sector.”
