“I respect the Charter, including workers' right to strike and bargain freely. The minister claims the government consulted with labour. In reality, the government says it consults, but then breaks the Constitution and does whatever it wants.”

Mr. Speaker, I respect the charter. That means the right to strike and the right to free collective bargaining. The minister is talking about how they consulted with labour, but I think labour is experiencing what indigenous people in Canada have experienced since time immemorial: The government says it consults, and then it violates the Constitution and does what it wants.
