“We need more time to study this massive bill, especially the changes to labour laws. The government is rushing it through committees, so we cannot properly look at how it will affect people.”
“Mr. Speaker, as I alluded to in my speech, specifically around the changes to labour laws, one of the concerns I certainly heard from constituents in my riding is that this is being put in this massive piece of legislation and being pushed through in majority committees. There will not be time to talk properly about the repercussions for people who will be impacted by this piece of legislation. I would agree with the member that we need to have that time, especially on that piece of legislation.”
