“This bill sets a one-year deadline to review projects so money reaches communities and businesses faster. It is easy to say we need less government, but what is the member's actual plan to move these projects forward?”
“Mr. Speaker, I heard my hon. colleague talk about this. I think it is easy to say government needs to get out of the way, or we need less government, without really putting into words what that actually means to real people. The bill is a proposal to put in a one-year review timeline. What would the member propose to make things move forward so these investments can actually make it to the communities and the businesses who need them, other than just slogans or getting government out of the way?”
