Madam Speaker, I have a couple of quick points. One is that there seems to be a preoccupation with how long I have been a parliamentarian. I can assure the member, and I will defend the leader of the official opposition, that there is a role for career parliamentarians. What is important is that we serve our constituents first and foremost, something that I take a great sense of pride in. They are my first priority and they always will be my first priority. In regard to the other issue, the member can look at the seniors’ dental program. That is a program that the Conservatives opposed.
