“High diesel prices hurt small businesses in my riding. I want my colleague to talk more about how diesel costs affect businesses.”
“Mr. Speaker, I can certainly relate to many of the things my colleague talked about with respect to things he hears from Canadians, including people in his riding. We are talking about relief at the pumps. I also talked to a lot of small and medium-sized business owners in the beautiful riding I represent, and they are also talking about the impact that increased diesel prices have on their operations. I am wondering if this is something my colleague also experiences, and whether he would like to expand specifically on that aspect of the increased cost of diesel.”
