Madam Speaker, I appreciate my colleague very much. We have worked together in the past and are likely to continue to do so. However, why does the Prime Minister not come and discuss this with us in committee? The Liberal member seems proud of these measures, proud of the plan and proud of what the Prime Minister is doing. She makes it sound like the government is not making any mistakes. There have been housing problems, there was the Roxham crisis, and Quebec is demanding to be paid back the hundreds of millions of dollars it spent on asylum seekers. That is part of the problem. The member is proud. I do not fully share her point of view. The government is not doing everything wrong, but there are things that need to change. Why does the Prime Minister not appear before the Standing Committee on Finance? It could be constructive, and the Prime Minister might enjoy appearing before the committee. I think the member should send him an email or go see him in the lobby to tell him to appear before the Standing Committee on Finance, because he will enjoy it as much as she enjoys being in the House.
