“The government brags about promises it has not kept and investments that have not actually happened. Buzzwords and photo ops will not build the economy. The government needs to get out of the way so Canadians can reach their real potential.”
Official Hansard

Mr. Speaker, the only thing broken is the record on the other side of the aisle. I have never heard any party so capable of bragging triumphantly of promises it has not yet kept. The member got up and did not say that the investment had occurred. He said that it has the potential to one day occur. Someday over the rainbow, if we just follow it, we might get to a pot of gold. We just need another summit, another signing ceremony, another photo op or a bunch of new made-up MBA isms, such as catalyze this and synergy that. We will not build an economy out of buzzwords or unrealized promises. We will build an economy by getting the government out of the way and off the backs of the Canadian people to realize their real potential.
