“Mr. Speaker, the disingenuousness of that member is actually disgusting. I was very clear in my comments that this is not the fault of immigrants. I do not blame anyone for wanting to enjoy and embrace the bounty of this country. It is the Liberal government that sets the numbers. This is a mathematical problem. I get that the Liberals, with their record, are not particularly good at math, but that member should be ashamed of himself for trying to make this about race when it is about opportunity. In fact, immigrants to this country who have done everything right are just as put out by this Liberal government’s record. They too are displaced. They too are facing the same issues in the job market that every single person is. This is not at all about immigrants. This is about the government that has allowed the TFW program to balloon into something where, by the way, even it acknowledges there was a problem. I have no idea where this is coming from.”

Mr. Speaker, the disingenuousness of that member is actually disgusting. I was very clear in my comments that this is not the fault of immigrants.
