“I agree. A committee must look closely at this bill. The new commission would have too much power and might just add more bureaucracy to avoid real blame and criminal accountability.”
“Mr. Speaker, yes, I agree. This is absolutely something that needs to be scrutinized as we move into committee. The commission would be a superregulator and be able to make its own decisions. Would there really be accountability in that, or is it just going to be another excuse, another layer of bureaucracy, where we would be able to pass blame instead of having real, true criminal accountability for a few of the items just discussed?”
