“The government is out of touch with rural and aging communities. People in my riding need reliable emergency rooms and specialists. Many doctors in Canada are not allowed to work while our health care system slows down. I want the government to adopt our plan to quickly get these doctors into hospitals.”
“Mr. Speaker, the response from the government side shows just how out of touch it is with rural and aging communities and with seniors. The Liberals offer more empty promises, and they refuse to answer for the unaccredited medical doctors they brought to Canada, promising them that they would be able to work. Many are from Canada, doctors sitting on the sidelines while our health care system grinds to a halt. Residents in my riding are not asking for grand lectures. They are asking for an ER clinic they can rely on and a specialist who can see them when they are sick. Too many physicians are sitting on the sidelines. Why will the government not adopt our plan to take immediate action to put them into hospitals when they are needed?”
