“I care about our veterans. The Prime Minister called this a trade war with the United States, and he promised to give contracts to Canadian companies first. Instead, an American company got the work. Liberals do not listen to the Prime Minister because they know he breaks his promises.”
“Mr. Speaker, I was talking earlier about sensitivity, and this question is a perfect example of why. I am talking about veterans. I am talking about veterans of our Canadian Armed Forces. I am talking about an American company at a time when the Prime Minister himself has described the situation as a trade war with the United States. The Prime Minister promised that he would award contracts to Canadian companies first. It is not my fault if the member did not listen to her Prime Minister’s promises. I think that even the Liberals stopped listening to their Prime Minister’s promises because they know he does not keep them.”
