“Veterans being homeless is a crisis. If the government ran the economy properly and protected their jobs, our veterans would be working and would not be homeless.”
“Mr. Speaker, the homelessness of veterans is a horrible crisis this country faces. In fact, I was just at a home for veterans in Ottawa serving Thanksgiving dinner to them not too long ago. If the government was running the economy the way it pretends it does and was giving and protecting veterans’ jobs, that would not be necessary. Our veterans would have jobs, would be working for the Commissionaires and would not be homeless.”

Mr. Speaker, the homelessness of veterans is a horrible crisis this country faces. In fact, I was just at a home for veterans in Ottawa serving Thanksgiving dinner to them not too long ago.
