“Witnesses at the defence committee praised using Crown corporations to buy military supplies. Why does the member think a Crown corporation is the best way to get our military the equipment and services it needs?”
“Madam Speaker, my colleague mentioned Crown corporations. At the Standing Committee on National Defence, every witness we met, whether military personnel or industry representatives, praised the Crown corporation model for military procurement. Major contracts have been awarded in the Mirabel riding, whether to L3Harris or other companies. I would like to hear the member’s perspective on why using a Crown corporation is the best way to provide our military with the equipment and services they need.”
