“Canada has the lowest debt compared to the size of its economy of any G7 country. This means we have the room to spend money to make our country and economy stronger. I want the member to share her thoughts on why this work is so important.”
“Mr. Speaker, I wonder if I could get my colleague’s reflections or thoughts in regard to the fact that Canada has the lowest net debt to GDP in the G7. We have great fiscal capacity, and by using that fiscal capacity, we are able to build a stronger and healthier Canada, a Canada that works for all. I am wondering if the member could provide her perspective on why it is so important that we continue to work diligently on building that stronger economy.”
