“The Prime Minister failed to get a good trade deal with the United States. Last week he said he could wait years to negotiate, but then he called Donald Trump right before calling by-elections. I want to know if he is negotiating to protect jobs or to help his party win.”
“Mr. Speaker, the Prime Minister promised a great deal with the United States, but there are no results. It is a total failure. Last week, the Prime Minister said that he could wait two or two and a half years before negotiating with the Americans. However, a few days ago, before calling the by-elections, who did he call? He called Donald Trump to negotiate. What a coincidence. It is déjà vu all over again. Is the Prime Minister negotiating to save jobs, or is he doing it to give the Liberals an advantage in the upcoming by-elections?”
