“We continue to support Canadian workers and businesses hurt by unfair U.S. tariffs, including businesses in the member's own riding. We walked away from trade talks because we will not accept a bad deal.”
“Mr. Speaker, we continue to support Canadian workers. Our objective is to support the Canadian workers affected by the unjustified and unjustifiable U.S. tariffs. I would also add that this includes many businesses in the member’s riding. Businesses in Beauce are receiving assistance through the tariff response. I would like to add one last thing: We will never, ever accept a bad deal. We walked away from the negotiating table because the deal that was presented to us was unacceptable.”
