Luc Thériault Bloc Québécois

“We asked to raise Old Age Security by 10% for seniors aged 65 to 74, just like the government did for seniors over 75. They are also hurt by high prices. Does the member support this?”

Mr. Speaker, as far as the economic update is concerned, the Bloc Québécois had 11 proposals to help people cope with the cost of living. One of our demands was to increase OAS by 10% for seniors aged 65 to 74, since the government did it for seniors over 75. These people are really being affected by inflation and the cost of living. Does my colleague support this measure?
