“This bill would help modernize Canada's health care system, where doctors still use outdated tools like fax machines. It helps medical computer systems share data, stops companies from blocking health records, and supports online care. I want to ask the member which parts of this bill would help the people in his riding the most.”

Mr. Speaker, this important bill would be a big step forward for the medical system throughout Canada. It seems that doctors still send faxes, which is basically the equivalent of stapling a piece of paper to the back of a dinosaur. It is kind of crazy how backward the health system can be in Canada. Among the IT interoperability, prohibiting data blocking, protecting access to health information and supporting virtual care, I wonder if there are any specific provisions in the bill that the member opposite sees as being the most helpful for the constituents in his riding.
