“When the member was health minister, I asked his office about privacy in health records, but I got an unclear answer. Why can provinces still not share health records with each other securely?”

Mr. Speaker, I would like to thank the member for his intervention today, particularly given that in 2022, when he was minister of health, there was an agreement between John Horgan and Justin Trudeau for health-sharing information. I asked the then minister for some information about privacy, and his office did send a response. I could read it one way, or I could flip it around and read it a different way, so it was good political communication. Why do we still have the problem in this country that health records cannot be shared between provinces securely?
