Mr. Speaker, what began in 1951 with the marching mothers movement and volunteers going door-to-door collecting dimes in support of finding a cure to polio lives on today as March of Dimes. This past summer, I had the pleasure of visiting with the wonderful staff and volunteers at March of Dimes in my riding of Don Valley North, and I want to take this occasion to congratulate them as they mark 75 years of service. I advise the House of this remarkable organization because, throughout its history, March of Dimes has helped countless Canadians with disabilities overcome barriers and achieve their full potential. I commend it for its continued dedication to building a more accessible and inclusive Canada for generations to come.
